Numbers are divided into real and imaginary. Real numbers are further divided into irrational numbers and rational numbers. Irrational numbers like pi, square root of 2 and the famous e, these numbers don't have a perfect divisor, after the decimal point the numbers go on and on. Whereas rational numbers are all the numbers which have a perfect divisor and can't be divided further. The numbers with perfect divisors are also called fractions like 0.5, 0.25, 1/2 and also the integers which include all the negative and positive numbers.
All the positive numbers including 0 are called whole numbers. Whole numbers are a subset of rational numbers. Lastly natural numbers, this is all the positive integers minus the zero.
